Lukashenka's supporters launched the #myflagmystyle flashmob. Tsikhanouskaya, Seviarynets, Liauchuk joined
The authorities tried to fill Threads with red-green flags. As a result, the social network's feed turned white-red-white.

By the way, from the very beginning, the ideologues could not correctly formulate the idea of the photo flashmob. What is the meaning of the combination of the words "flag" and "style"? "Hrodna Pravda" tried to explain to readers: "Stylish, high-quality, and maximally Belarusian. Agree, such things will perfectly complement any wardrobe!"
But at the same time, it called for a photo of some space where the red-green flag hangs prominently. In one of the flashmob's name variations, there is also the word "room" — and it sounds like this: "My flag. My style. My room."
Therefore, voluntarily-coerced participants could only guess whether they really needed to take a photo in their room, or if the illiterate ideologues simply failed to correctly translate the Russian word "pokoy" (meaning both 'peace' and 'room' in certain contexts).

Gradually, photos with red-green flags began to appear in Threads. Many participants had to specifically create an account in this social network for this.

Someone published photos with identical text (only in different languages) — probably sent down from above.

The fact that not everyone even managed to quickly hang Lukashenka's flag on the wall the right way testifies to how reluctantly Belarusians participated in the pro-government flashmob.

Someone asked their child to hold the flag. But even in these cases, there were some curious incidents. In one of the photos, a boy about ten years old poses — through the thin fabric of the flag, it's visible that behind him, a monitor with a game is glowing. Commentators joke that the child would do anything if only his mother allowed him to continue playing.

The true mass participation in the flashmob was ensured by Belarusians who do not support the dictatorship. Photos under the hashtag #myflagmystyle were published by democratic leader Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, Pavel Seviarynets and Anatol Liabedzka, singer Marharyta Liauchuk, writer Hanna Zlatkouskaya, blogger Volha Takarchuk, and many ordinary Belarusian men and women.

Even "yabatki" (Lukashenka's loyalists) were forced to admit the victory of the white-red-white flag. Under photos with the red-green flag, you can see comments where people rejoice in crude phrases: "Finally, at least our flag is in the feed. The white-red-white devils got tiresome."

It should be noted that more red-green flags can be seen on Instagram. But there, photos are published by various state institutions like schools, hospitals, and enterprises, as well as BRSM cells.
