Thousands of people watched the drama of a Barysaŭ cat being rescued from a tree
At one point, the owner also got stuck in the tree.

A video of a cat being rescued from a tree in Barysaŭ went viral, garnering 7.4 million views. mlyn.by drew attention to the video.
Tyhrys, as the ginger cat is called, climbed a tree and wouldn't come down. His owner, Nastassia, decided to lure the cat down using a lifehack: she bought valerian drops from a pharmacy and poured them under the tree. It didn't help.
Then the girl decided to climb the tree herself. But not only did she fail to get the cat down, she also couldn't get down herself. She had to call the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES).
Rescuers arrived fairly quickly and brought Nastassia down. But the cat, frightened by the noise, people, and the aerial platform, darted even higher, to where the equipment couldn't reach. The rescuers calmed the girl down and advised her not to worry: it would come down sooner or later.
The girl continued to wait for Tyhrys under the tree. She ordered a private aerial platform, paying 65 rubles.
As soon as the aerial platform arrived and people started to approach the cat, Tyhrys began to descend on his own.
By this time, a whole crowd had gathered below. Several men, just in case, stretched out a jacket to catch the animal.
The cat descended lower and lower — and about a meter from the ground, it suddenly leaped sideways, bypassed the jacket, and slipped between someone's legs.
Nastassia found Tyhrys a while later on a neighboring street — alive and well.
