On Sunday morning, May 10, users of the capital's provider "Kosmos Telecom" faced a complete absence of internet access. The problems affected both foreign and local resources, and the operator's own website became inaccessible.

On Sunday morning, May 10, the Onlíner editorial office began to receive reports from readers about non-working internet from the provider "Kosmos Telecom". Neither local nor foreign resources are opening. The operator's own website is also unavailable.
One of the readers contacted support with a complaint about internet inaccessibility and received a response about an attack on the provider's network:
"Greetings. We inform you about an ongoing massive DDoS attack on the network of JV "Kosmos TV". Our specialists are working on repelling this attack; however, we cannot currently provide timelines for restoring the internet service. We apologize for the inconvenience caused," — the provider's support reported.
When calling the technical support number, an answering machine activates with a message about an emergency situation, due to which, it is reported, "an increase in the number of calls is being observed."
"Our specialists are overloaded, and the estimated waiting time is too long," — the recorded voice states, and suggests calling back later or leaving a callback request on the company's website.
