In Russia, gummy worms have displeased officials.
A child's desire to eat marmalade in the shape of worms is inadequate, according to a letter from the Russian Ministry of Education, TASS reports.
"From a psychoneurological point of view, a child's desire to taste marmalade and other sweets in the form of worms, blood, feces, and other absolutely unacceptable images cannot be called adequate," the document states.
And the trend for such marmalade is dictated by foreign video clips, officials note.
