Sabalenka said she understands why people might be prejudiced against her. According to her, there's one thing that makes people think she's unfriendly. It's her face.
«When you see me for the first time, you'll probably think I'm a bitch because of my Slavic face. That doesn't help at all,» she said.
The correspondent confirms that if Sabalenka suddenly becomes stern, unsmiling, with a long and displeased face, then one really wouldn't want to mess with her.
«When I walk around with that flat face and no emotions, I can look very aggressive. That's why I understand why some people consider me a bitch. When you get to know me better, you realize it's just something I was born with.»
