Putin measured in kilometers how much of the Russian army is left until victory

Russian President Vladimir Putin, in an interview with propagandist Pavel Zarubin, expressed his vision of the situation on the Russian-Ukrainian front and stated the need to increase air defense production.

Putin stated that Russia needs to constantly increase the production of air defense systems and improve them for delivery to troops, as well as for the protection of critical infrastructure.

According to him, the country has the necessary defense means, but the main task is to increase the pace of their production and supply. Putin also stated that strikes on Russia's supposedly civilian infrastructure do not affect the situation on the front line and will not force Moscow to cease offensive actions.

Commenting on the course of hostilities, Putin stated that Russia's main task remains the complete takeover of Donbas. He assessed the situation for Russian troops optimistically.

Russian troops, according to his information, control 96% of Kostiantynivka and have approached Sloviansk at a distance of 8-9 kilometers. In the Sumy region, he named the creation of a "security zone" as the goal of the Russian army, noting that Sumy is 10.5 kilometers away.

The Ukrainian monitoring channel Deep State immediately after Putin's statements assessed their veracity on a map. According to their version, for example, Sumy is more than half further away than the Russian leader claims - about 23 kilometers.

According to Putin, only about 2 kilometers remain until the final encirclement of the Ukrainian Armed Forces formations near Stary Oskol. But there's a nuance: Stary Oskol is actually a Russian city in the Belgorod region, 120 kilometers from the border with Ukraine.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine, according to Putin's assessment, are facing a severe shortage of personnel. However, he says, diversionary operations by Ukrainian special forces, who may use Russian military uniforms, are not ruled out.

Putin also touched on the fuel situation in Russia. He stated that the fuel deficit on the domestic market is not critical, and fuel supplies to Crimea will be increased and will continue both by land and sea.
