Mak.by company, the official operator of the fast-food restaurant chain in Belarus, has decided not to proceed with the construction of a new facility on the previously chosen land plot in Barysaŭ. This was reported by company representatives, writes "Minskaya Praŭda".

The company clarified that this is about refusing a specific location, and not about refusing plans to operate in this city in general. Interest in opening a restaurant in Barysaŭ reportedly remains.
"Currently, the company is focused on finding an alternative location that will fully meet the requirements for advantageous placement, infrastructure, transport accessibility, and long-term development of the facility," Mak.by commented on the situation.
Previously, the construction of the establishment on one of the plots within the city was discussed. The talk was about a site in the area of Haharina Street — near large residential areas and a busy highway.
Today, the Mak.by chain numbers several dozen restaurants across Belarus. Barysaŭ remains one of the cities where the company is not yet represented.
