The Kremlin showed how Putin greets a "random passerby". He turned out to be "his own" man
Journalists exposed another staged event involving the Russian president. In a video distributed by the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin allegedly accidentally meets a passerby in a hotel lobby — the latter exits the elevator into the lobby just as Putin and his security detail are there. The President of the Russian Federation greets him and asks about life and the weather.

The Kremlin press service on Monday published a video of Vladimir Putin meeting his school teacher Vera Gurevich at a hotel on Arbat. Putin, as shown in the video, personally drove to the hotel for the teacher to take her to dinner at the Kremlin.
During this meeting, the President of the Russian Federation greets an allegedly random man. An analysis by "The Agency" showed that this role was played by Alexander Bazarny, who worked for a company that manages Putin's villas and the mother of his companion, Alina Kabaeva.
In the video, Putin drives an Aurus SUV himself into an unnamed hotel and proceeds to the hotel lobby. Vera Gurevich is waiting for him there.
After this, they head to the car together.
On the way, Putin meets a resident of Sochi, shakes his hand and asks about the weather and his impressions of Moscow. After this, as stated in the press release, the president and the teacher depart for dinner at the Kremlin.
According to "The Agency's" analysis, Bazarny indeed lives in Sochi.
In 2010–11, he worked as a security guard at the Krasnodar enterprises "Gazstroi Bezopasnost" and "Svod International". He also worked for the company "Gross Group D", likely as a driver.
The company "Gross Group D", as "Proekt" wrote in 2022, belongs to the firm "Vladeniye-V", connected with former intelligence officer Sergei Tregubov. Tregubov manages assets on behalf of Gazprom head Alexei Miller and carries out sensitive assignments for the country's leadership.
The company "Svod International" was later renamed to "Gazprom Polyana", which manages the resort of the same name.
"Svod International" also serviced the "Achipse" chalet near the Krasnaya Polyana resort. This chalet was called one of the residences of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The company also managed other elite cottages in Krasnaya Polyana, among whose tenants were Alina Kabaeva's mother and the son of Rosgvardiya head Viktor Zolotov.
