In the Brest Region, the "Canary" will operate on the Mukhavets river
In Belarus, they plan to launch a new type of water transport — an electric pleasure tram of the "Canary" class. It will operate on the Mukhavets river in the Brest region. The vessel is designed for 38 passengers and is intended for leisurely cruises and excursions, writes BelTA.

The "Canary" is a compact transport that can pass even through narrow sections of the river. It runs on electricity, so it produces no emissions and is considered ecological. The maximum speed is about 13 km/h, and the battery charge lasts all day.
The production of such vessels is established in Russia's Leningrad region, and the authorities of the Brest region have already agreed to acquire one of them.
Additionally, the possibility of organizing their own production of similar transport in Pinsk is being considered. They also want to develop other water-based projects there — for example, building floating houses and restaurants.
