44-year-old Dzianis Tumash headed the company "Belnaftakhim-Ros". He was apprehended immediately after returning from a vacation in the Seychelles and taken to the KGB pre-trial detention center.

"Nasha Niva" has learned about a large criminal case surrounding "Belnaftakhim" that began to unfold in late 2024. As often happens in such situations, no information about the large-scale investigation was reported in the state media. There is also no precise information about how many defendants will go to court and at what stage the process is.
One of the central figures is the head of "Belnaftakhim-Ros", Dzianis Tumash. This company is involved in selling "Belnaftakhim" products to the Russian market. Its founder is the state-owned Belarusian Oil Trading House.
Dzianis Tumash was born in 1982. He graduated from Minsk State Linguistic University. He began working at the Academy of Sciences when it was headed by Mikhail Myasnikovich. The young specialist was responsible for marketing there and apparently pleased his boss in some way. In 2010, Myasnikovich was appointed Prime Minister, and Tumash soon joined the apparatus of the Council of Ministers.
Belpol databases do not indicate his position in the government, but the manager introduced himself to his cellmates in the KGB pre-trial detention center as Myasnikovich's former assistant.
Tumash took charge of "Belnaftakhim-Ros" in September 2014. Accordingly, his family had to move to Russia.

According to Russian databases, he headed "Belnaftakhim-Ros" until September 2024. Around that time, he was arrested for receiving a bribe and sent to the KGB pre-trial detention center.
Tumash told his cellmates that he had lived in Miami for some time but later renounced his American residence permit. He was arrested the day after returning from a vacation in the Seychelles.
The top manager's wife works in the structures of the EAEU. Alisa Tumash can be seen in numerous ceremonial photos from the organization's events.

Among others arrested in the "Belnaftakhim" case is the name of Dzmitry Khvainitski. He headed the risk assessment department.
