In Russia, a military deserter killed and dismembered three women
In the Nizhny Novgorod region, a military deserter was apprehended, suspected of murdering three women — his cohabitant, her mother, and her daughter. The man partially admitted guilt, writes the Telegram channel Mash.

The crime came to light after police at a traffic police post in Nizhny Novgorod stopped a "Gazelle" minibus for inspection. In the cargo compartment, they found the remains of three women, distributed among bags, backpacks, and packages. The suspect, who was in the van as a passenger, fled. The driver stated that he did not know what was in the cargo compartment.
The suspect was soon detained. According to the Investigative Committee, he was a deserter and was hiding in the village of Neklyudovo near the city of Bor. There, he had a conflict with his cohabitant. The man hit her several times on the head with a crowbar, causing her death.
After this, the man traveled to Nizhny Novgorod to the mother and daughter of the deceased and told them what had happened. The women decided to report the incident to the police, but the man killed them with the same crowbar.
After the murders, he dismembered the bodies, put the remains into bags, and hired a "Gazelle" van. The man intended to hide them in the forest, but on October 5, the van was stopped at the "Meshchersky" traffic police post.
The detainee was charged with murder, murder of two or more people, and desertion. He admitted his guilt only partially.
