Swift asked the 84-year-old world music legend to perform a 1963 song.

Paul McCartney performed at the wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce in New York, singing The Beatles' song "I Want to Hold Your Hand". The musician revealed that he initially joked, suggesting Swift sing the hit herself for her groom, People reported.
Swift asked the 84-year-old McCartney to perform the 1963 song at the ceremony, which took place on July 3 at Madison Square Garden.
The musician agreed but suggested the singer join him on stage: "I said: you should sing along and sing it to your man."
It is unknown whether Swift ultimately joined McCartney on stage.
This performance was McCartney's first time performing "I Want to Hold Your Hand" at a major event in over 60 years.
Stevie Nicks, Swift's longtime music mentor, also performed at the wedding.
Kelce himself also sang during the celebration. His brother Jason Kelce later said that the footballer always had a decent voice, although that evening he had to compete with professional musicians.
