Marc Chagall's masterpiece "Over the Town" to come to Belarus for the first time
The world-renowned painting "Over the Town" by Marc Chagall, which is part of his legendary triptych about love, will be exhibited for the first time in the artist's homeland — in Vitebsk.

Residents and guests of the city will be able to see Marc and Bella soaring over the town. The first display of the masterpiece is scheduled for July 16 — the opening day of the "Slavianski Bazaar" festival.
Previously, another part of the triptych — the painting "The Walk" — was brought to the National Art Museum in Minsk. Following negotiations between the Prime Ministers of Belarus and Russia, its exhibition period was extended until October 2026.
Thanks to this, two of Chagall's most famous works will be exhibited simultaneously in Belarus for the first time.
