Road markings and signs on the way to Belovezhskaya Pushcha will glow

Works to improve road safety are being carried out on the roads of the Brest region. Special attention is paid to protecting pedestrians and drivers, especially in the dark and during adverse weather conditions, the Ministry of Transport press service reported.

A new lighting system has begun to be implemented on the R83 Brest — Kamenets — National Park «Belovezhskaya Pushcha» highway.

Using LED projectors, road signs and markings will be displayed directly on the roadway. This should make them more visible at night, as well as during fog or rain, which will help improve traffic safety.

Previously, a so-called musical road had already appeared on this same road. It creates a melody when a car moves at a certain speed and serves as an additional means to attract drivers' attention.
