Messi scored against Jordan today from a free-kick. 

The Argentine came on as a substitute in the second half.

Messi has six goals in this championship: he also scored three goals against Algeria and two against Austria.

In total, Messi has 19 goals across six World Cups. On Monday, the Argentine, by scoring a brace in the match against Austria, broke the record of the then-record holder for goals, Miroslav Klose (who had 16 goals). 

In the Round of 16, Argentina will face Cape Verde next Saturday.
