In the coming days, Minsk may experience temperatures up to 35 degrees, so city beaches will become an attraction for thousands of Minsk residents. But where can you swim in the capital?
Specialists recommend choosing official swimming zones — it is here that water quality is regularly checked and the safety of vacationers is monitored. There are 23 such beaches in the capital, Minsk-news reports.
— Each has passed inspection: the bottom is cleaned, there are no strong currents, and all conditions for a comfortable and safe rest are present, — noted Evgeny Baranovsky, an official representative of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Zaslavskoe Reservoir — 8 beaches: № 1—6, 8 and 9
How to get there: by regular electric train to the "Minskoye More" stop, by buses № 407 or № 419 to the "Minskoye More" stop, № 435 to the "Yunost Sanatorium" stop (beach № 9), by bicycle along the main Minsk cycle path.
What's available: changing rooms, bio-toilets, spacious gazebos with barbecues and sun loungers, children's and sports playgrounds, workout zones, food courts, and water entertainment.
Cons: few parking spaces.
Before this swimming season, beach № 1 was renovated. A fenced area for beach football was created here, a convenient wooden path to the water was arranged, and modern recreation zones with benches and tables were installed.
Swings over the water at beach №4 have become a popular photo location, offering a picturesque view of the reservoir.
Tsnyanskoye Reservoir — 6 beaches: № 1—5 and 6 ("Island")
How to get there: by buses № 13, 24, 35, 87s, 109V, 157, 162, 175s, trolleybuses № 1, 2, 46, 53 to the stop of the same name. A bicycle path also runs near the beaches.
What's available: changing rooms, bio-toilets, food courts, barbecue zones, and workout areas. For children, there are attractions and swimming training areas, and for sports enthusiasts — volleyball and football spaces, table tennis, and water entertainment.
Komsomolskoye Lake — beach № 6
How to get there: by buses № 1, 29, 29d, 136, 44, 69, 73, 91 to the stop of the same name or by trolleybuses № 33, 38, 55, as well as by buses № 62E, 76E, and 133 to the "Novavilenskaya" stop.
What's available: changing rooms, benches with canopies, showers, and children's playgrounds.
Cons: no permanent barbecues, paid toilet.
Drozdy Reservoir — 6 beaches: № 2, 5—9
How to get there: by bus № 91 to the "Vyasninka, 10" stop or by buses № 44, 119s, 136 to the "Vyasninka" stop. By bicycle along the main Minsk cycle path.
What's available: gazebos with barbecues, sun loungers, exercise machines, a park area with waterfalls, showers, food courts, and cafes.
This year, swimming is prohibited at beach № 7 on the reservoir.
Krynitsa Reservoir — 2 beaches: № 3 and 4
How to get there: by bus № 136 to the "Zhdanovichi Health Center" stop or by buses № 414, 432, 435, 452 to the "Rehabilitation Center" stop.
What's available: sun loungers, gazebos, benches, changing cabins, shade canopies, shower facilities.
Near the reservoir is one of the most secluded beach areas. A calm natural atmosphere prevails here, and there are usually fewer vacationers.
Swimming is strictly prohibited in the Chizhovskoye Reservoir.
The reservoir is technical, and the content of pollutants in the water and bottom sediments repeatedly exceeds permissible sanitary norms.
