Skaryna Press publishing house, in cooperation with the Francis Skaryna Belarusian Library and Museum in London, is releasing a facsimile of Larysa Hienijuš's handwritten collection «Spiritus flat ubi vult. Verses 1945—1947», writes bellit.info.

The manuscript, which is preserved in the London Belarusian Museum, was prepared for publication by an entire team: compiler Ihar Ivanoŭ, editor Janina Laŭnik, language consultants Alena Ivanoŭskaja and Sviatlana Liasovič, and designer Siarhiej Šabochin.
For the first time, the poems from this manuscript were prepared for publication and released as a separate book with a preface in English by Professor Arnold McMillin in 1992.
The new edition is accompanied by an introductory word by Tatsiana Astroŭskaja «Larysa Hienijuš and the history of Belarusian samizdat», as well as a reprint of Arnold McMillin's preface to the first 1992 edition and Janina Laŭnik's preface to the second edition with an extensive linguistic commentary.
The introductory word and prefaces to both editions are printed in Belarusian and English, followed by a section with transcribed and printed poems, and then the actual facsimile of the poetess's manuscript collection.
The book will soon be available for purchase, primarily through the Skaryna Press website.
