Elections to the Coordination Council are starting in a few days. 172 people are vying for 80 seats. Initially, there were more applicants, but two people have already withdrawn. Journalist Katerina Vadanosaava was told that combining work and political activity is not advisable.
In addition, 19-year-old Uliana Vardamatskaya submitted an application to withdraw. She ran from the "Your Voice" electoral list under number 15, so the girl had little chance of becoming one of the CC delegates.
Nevertheless, the KGB managed to include her in the list of the corresponding "extremist formation."
Uliana Vardamatskaya is the daughter of sociologist Andrei Vardamatski. She lives in Warsaw.
