Trump Threatened Iranian Authorities with Destruction if Tehran Attacks American Ships
In the event of an attack on any American ship participating in Operation "Freedom," the US will destroy the Iranian leadership, stated US President Donald Trump in an interview with Fox News journalist Trey Yingst.

"If the Iranians try to target American ships in the region, we will wipe them off the face of the Earth," Yingst quoted Trump as saying on Monday.
In addition, Trump stressed that Iran has allegedly become "much more amenable" in negotiations.
Earlier, he stated that starting Monday, the US would provide assistance to ships blocked in the Strait of Hormuz that would attempt to leave it. Trump noted that this refers to vessels of countries not involved in the conflict between Washington and Tehran.
The US President emphasized that these vessels would not return to the Strait of Hormuz until the Iranian crisis is resolved.
