The press service of the Brest Regional Executive Committee announced that the famous bison statue, located in the Baranavichy district near the M1 highway, which people use to travel to Brest, is planned to be enhanced with new special effects, and this artificial animal will also be given a name.

After reconstruction, the long-known bison figure became more monumental. A parking lot was equipped next to it, and the sculpture itself was provided with lighting.

In the near future, additional effects are planned: the bison will imitate a roar and emit steam, which should make the object more impressive for travelers.

Local authorities also proposed naming the bison. Residents will be able to suggest their options, after which a vote will take place and the final name will be chosen.
