Yesterday, AFP reported on Zelenskyy's visit to Baku.
Since 2022, Azerbaijan has generally supported Ukraine with statements and humanitarian aid, especially during periods of tension in relations with Russia. However, the country also maintains close ties with Moscow and plays a role as one of the routes through which Russia partially circumvents international sanctions.

Before this, on Friday, April 24, Zelenskyy visited Saudi Arabia, where he met with its de facto ruler — Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. According to the Ukrainian leader, the conversation was fruitful and touched upon security issues, including the possibilities for air defense, as well as cooperation in the energy and food sectors.
