On June 25, around 1 p.m., a light aircraft crashed in the Warsaw district of Bemowo, near the Warsaw-Babice airfield and the WORD examination site, reports Mejski Reporter.

According to preliminary information, the aircraft was coming in for landing, but for reasons yet unknown, it crashed outside the runway. Immediately after hitting the ground, the aircraft caught fire.
Several fire department units, emergency medical teams, and an air rescue helicopter were dispatched to the scene. Thick black smoke rose over the crash site, which was visible from afar.
After the fire was extinguished, rescuers found two badly burned bodies in the wreckage. It is believed that these were the people on board the aircraft. Two people on the ground at the time of the aircraft's fall were also injured. One of them was taken to the hospital, while the other did not require medical hospitalization.
Relevant services are currently working at the scene, investigating the causes and circumstances of the aviation catastrophe.
