Belarusian clubs learned their possible opponents in the first round of European cups
Tonight, the draw for the first qualifying round of football European cups will take place. This year, for the first time in a long time, due to a low ranking, Belarus is represented by three clubs instead of four.

The country's champion «ML Vitebsk» starts from the Champions League qualification, while Minsk «Dinamo» and Cup winner BATE — in the Conference League.
Before the draw, football clubs are divided into several conditional subgroups, and their opponent will be drawn from them.
«ML Vitebsk» was among the unseeded teams, i.e., teams with a low ranking. Moreover, the club has the lowest ranking among all clubs, as it has never played in European cups.
A possible opponent for «ML Vitebsk» will be one of the following seven teams.
«Drita» (Kosovo), «Borac» (Bosnia), «Víkingur» (Iceland), «Kairat» (Kazakhstan), «Universitatea» (Romania), «Klaksvík» (Faroe Islands), «Petrocub» (Moldova). The opponent will be known at 5 PM during the draw.
In case of victory, the club will play in the second qualifying round of the Champions League; in case of defeat, it will get a second chance in the 2nd round of the Conference League.
Possible opponents for Minsk «Dinamo» in the Conference League: «Sileks» (North Macedonia), «Dinamo City» (Albania), «Virtus» (San Marino), «Mornar» (Montenegro), «Marsaxlokk» (Malta).
BATE will play against someone from the following list: «Torpedo» Kutaisi (Georgia), «Velež» (Bosnia), «Elimai» (Kazakhstan), «Elbasani» (Albania), «Petrovac» (Montenegro). The draw itself is at 6 PM.
The first round matches of the Champions League will take place on July 7-8 and 14-15, and the Conference League on July 9 and 16.
Last year, Minsk «Dinamo» was eliminated in the first round of the Champions League, losing to Bulgarian «Ludogorets», and then in the second round of the Conference League lost to Albanian «Egnatia».
