Tsikhanouskaya's Advisor Urges Participation in Coordination Council Elections
Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya's Senior Political Advisor, Aliaksandr Dabravolski, published an appeal to Belarusians, urging them to vote in the Coordination Council elections, which begin on the evening of May 11.

According to Dabravolski, Lukashenka's regime fears the Coordination Council elections and therefore "tries to intimidate us." He notes that "the election campaign took place under increased pressure — the recognition of candidates as extremists, cyberattacks, and information attacks," and this, he says, "additionally testifies to the importance of the CC elections for Belarus."
"None of those who voted in the Coordination Council elections two years ago were exposed or punished for it. In two years, the regime has not been able to hack IT systems and gain access to voter identification. That is why all that remains for the regime is to make false claims and intimidate people. But the experience of the elections gives us reason to be confident that everything possible has been done to ensure the safety of those who will participate in the voting," Aliaksandr Dabravolski asserts.
In addition, he states that "the Coordination Council is our proto-parliament. It is the space where we can and should discuss our problems and develop tools for their solution." The elections to it "are also important because they restore to us the very meaning of choice."
"Therefore, participation in this vote is not only the election of representatives but also the preservation of the very culture of democratic choice for the future of Belarus," Aliaksandr Dabravolski is confident.
