Next week, from May 11 to 17, the weather in Belarus will be more in line with typical May conditions. The average temperature is expected to be close to the climatic norm, with warming predicted only closer to the weekend, reported by meteorologist Dmitry Ryabov on ONT TV channel.

At the beginning of the week, the weather will be determined by a high-pressure area. On Monday, no significant precipitation is expected in most areas; only short rains and thunderstorms are possible in the west of the country. At night, the temperature will be from +4 to +9 degrees, during the day — from +12 to +17, and in the south and southwest, the air will warm up to +23.
On Tuesday, the weather will worsen due to a cyclone from the Baltic Sea. Short-term rains, thunderstorms, and strong gusty winds, locally up to 20 meters per second, are expected. Air humidity will be high, with possible fog in the morning. At night, the temperature will be +7…+12, during the day — from +12 in the west to +23 in the southeast.
Unstable weather with rains and thunderstorms will persist on Wednesday. Heavy downpours are possible in some areas in the east of the country. It will be colder: daytime temperatures from +10 in the north to +17 in the south.
Rains and thunderstorms are expected again on Thursday, especially in the eastern regions. At night, it will be from +4 to +9 degrees, and during the day — from +9 in the east to +15 in the west.
On Friday, another cyclone from the Baltic Sea will arrive in Belarus. Rains are forecast in most regions, locally heavy, along with fresh gusty winds. Despite this, daytime temperatures will be relatively high — from +16 to +21 degrees.
The weather will improve slightly over the weekend. On Saturday and Sunday, variable cloudiness will persist, with possible short local rains and thunderstorms. Fog is possible in some areas at night and in the morning. Daytime air temperatures will range from +16 to +23 degrees, depending on the region.
