A resident of Gomel, after consuming alcohol, threatened his wife and children with an air pistol. The incident occurred against the backdrop of a family quarrel, writes the publication "Belka".

According to the prosecutor's office, the conflict began between the father and his eldest daughter. When the wife and younger son ran to the screams, the man became even more enraged. In a fit of strong anger, he took out an air pistol and began to point it at his family members one by one, threatening to kill them.
The children managed to secretly call the police. During the investigation, the man admitted that he only wanted to scare his relatives and "teach them a lesson." However, in court, he later denied his guilt.
A video recording made on the son's phone, as well as the testimonies of family members, confirmed the authenticity of the events that transpired.
As a result, the court found the man guilty of threatening murder and imposed a fine of 50 basic units (which is 2250 rubles). The air pistol was confiscated.
