Pro-Russian activists held "Immortal Regiments" in Belarusian regional cities
Pro-Russian activists managed to incorporate the "Immortal Regiment" procession into the official "Belarus Remembers" campaign in Belarusian regional cities. This was reported by the Russian Embassy in Belarus and representations of "Rossotrudnichestvo". At the same time, Belarusian state media barely mentioned the "Immortal Regiment," writes Reform.news.

In Grodno, the united column was led by representatives of the Russian Consulate General and the "Russian House." Judging by photos and videos from the events, these actions were not particularly numerous anywhere.
Sputnik Belarus also published a video from Minsk, where participants of the event talked about their relatives who participated in the war. People with portraits of their relatives and Joseph Stalin were seen in the frame.
Earlier, pro-Russian activist Andrei Herashchanka called on the Belarusian authorities to officially include the "Immortal Regiment" in the "Belarus Remembers" campaign. He claimed that this should emphasize the unity of Belarus and Russia in celebrating Victory Day. According to him, such a format was already used in 2024 and 2025.
However, it recently became known that the Minsk City Executive Committee did not allow a separate "Immortal Regiment" procession in Minsk on May 9.
