Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Ukraine has completed repairs on the Druzhba oil pipeline.
“As was determined in communication with the European Union, Ukraine has completed repair work on the section of the Druzhba oil pipeline that was damaged by a Russian strike. The pipeline can resume functioning,” wrote Zelensky in his Telegram channel, but added that “no one can now guarantee that Russian strikes on the pipeline infrastructure will not be repeated.”
The President of Ukraine added that in response they expect the unblocking of an EU loan of 90 billion euros.
“We associate with this the unblocking of the European support package for Ukraine, which has already been approved by the European Council.”
