“Currently, the situation with acute respiratory infections is typical for this period of the year. However, in the coming weeks, we expect an increase in the number of cases,” she said.

According to her, the H3N2 influenza virus is currently circulating in the country, and isolated cases of influenza B are also being registered. In addition, non-influenza viruses are present: parainfluenza, adenoviruses, and others.

“Coronavirus. We can say that it has already transitioned into the category of seasonal respiratory infections. It is also currently present among the population, but to a much lesser extent than in previous years. Nevertheless, as of today, we are talking about an increase in the number of cases of non-influenza respiratory infections and influenza,” she added.
