A Turkish Airlines aircraft, which performed the first regular flight as part of the renewed Istanbul — Minsk flight program, successfully landed in the Belarusian capital on schedule, Minsk Airport reports in its Telegram channel.
The plane was met with a traditional water arch and karavai (bread) in such cases.
The ceremonial cutting of the red ribbon marked the official start of the renewed flight program.
In the first phase, the frequency of flights will be 6-7 times a week — both night and day flights will be operated.
