In Grodno, teenagers scared residents with toy weapons from a roof
Grodno police reported on teenagers who climbed onto the roof of an apartment building and simulated "shooting" from an object resembling a pistol.
The incident occurred at Indurskoye Highway, 4/2. Information about it first appeared online and caused a stir, after which law enforcement officers also got involved.
Approximately an hour after arriving at the scene, they established that five teenagers aged 13 to 15 were participants in the "fun". It turned out that the "weapon" they used was a toy. According to the teenagers, they weren't aiming at people at all, but simply having fun and wanted to see the city from a height.
Now, an investigation is being conducted into this matter. Since access to the roof was not restricted, the issue of building safety and possible violations is being considered separately.
The police urge parents to pay more attention to their children's free time and explain safety rules to them to avoid similar situations in the future.
