American pastor Franklin Graham, who is currently participating in the large-scale Protestant "Festival of Hope" organized at "Chyzhouka-Arena," posted photos on his X social media page from the Belarusian analogue of McDonald's — Mak.by.

“Today in Minsk, Belarus, I went to their version of McDonald’s — it’s called Mak.by. They have a fried CHERRY pie, and it was wonderful!” — wrote Franklin Graham.

When visiting Mak.by himself this year on March 8, Lukashenka ordered First Deputy Prime Minister Nikolai Snopkov, who accompanied him:
"Now let the Americans come and see. If they come to me, be sure to bring them here. Say: let's go to "McDonald's." Belarusians are working, Belarusian equipment, Belarusian product."
It appears that officials are carrying out his instruction.

"Perceptions arise that political prisoners must be resilient, composed, grateful. But reality is different." We spoke with people who literally guide deported individuals by the hand
