In Kharkiv, Shahed drone debris flew into the kitchen of an apartment on the 12th floor and did not detonate PHOTO FACT

"It's hard to believe that this ended without tragedy," says the city's mayor.

Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported a drone strike on a residential building in the Shevchenkivskyi district of the city. Debris from the Russian Shahed drone hit an apartment on the 12th floor of an apartment building. One person sustained shrapnel wounds to the chest.

According to the mayor, the drone did not detonate — otherwise, there would have been significantly more casualties.

'Looking at these photos, it's hard to believe that this ended without tragedy,' wrote Terekhov.
