The cost of legalizing a self-occupied land plot in Belarus depends on its location and purpose. This was reported by Nikolai Bober, Deputy Chairman of the State Property Committee.

According to the official, it is impossible to name an average cost, as it is determined by the cadastral value of a specific plot. In Minsk, it is significantly higher than in the regions.
For example, as of July 6, the cadastral value of one square meter of land in the center of Minsk ranges from $67.7 to $545.7 in equivalent, depending on the purpose of the plot. In Drogichin, for instance, this figure is between $2.08 and $13.76.
Nikolai Bober also noted that when acquiring such plots, payment installment plans for up to five years can be arranged. No special benefits are provided for pensioners.
The "land amnesty" has been in effect in Belarus since September 1, 2022. During this time, more than 31,000 citizens have already legalized self-occupied land plots. The simplified procedure for their registration will be valid until January 1, 2028.
