Rybakov on the course of negotiations with the USA: Some issues fully resolved, some — in process

According to the Permanent Representative of Belarus to the UN, negotiations with the American side will continue, and positive results will not be long in coming.

For example, next week Valentin Rybakov expects to meet with the American delegation in New York once again, writes BelTA.

The agenda of the negotiations includes both issues that US representatives have not yet resolved based on previous meetings with the Belarusian side, and new opportunities for interaction.

«All the issues that were identified are being resolved. But only one has been fully resolved — personal sanctions against the head of "Belaruskali" have been lifted. The remaining issues are in the process of being resolved. This may take some time, as the issues are complex and concern banking activities. But they will be resolved,» the diplomat said following his report to Lukashenka.

«New opportunities are opening up for interaction with the American side, including taking into account the latest decisions of the US President regarding interaction with other countries,» he added.
