"We've been waiting for our apartments for the sixth year already." Co-investors of Minsk's Smart residential complex recorded a video appeal to Lukashenka
Construction of the residential complex on Prylutskaya Street began in 2019, but only two out of seven sections have been completed to date. The co-investors claim that the project has become cheaper during this time, the quality of work raises questions, and they are again being forced to agree to deadline postponements.

The long-suffering Smart residential complex at the intersection of Prylutskaya and Hlaholyeva streets began construction back in 2019. Initially, the 13-story trapezoidal building was promised to be built quickly, but in the first years, the developer put only two sections into operation, writes Onliner.
The deadlines for the completion of the remaining five entrances were constantly postponed: first to 2022, then to 2023. Some co-investors even decided to terminate their contracts and went to court to get their money back.

Those Minsk residents who still decided to wait for the keys appealed to Lukashenka for help in 2024. A few days ago, they recorded a second video appeal, which states:
— Alyaksandr Ryhoravich, we, the co-investors of the widely known Smart residential complex, appealed to you in 2024. After our appeal to you, the situation drastically improved, but three years have passed, and the house has not been completed. We continue to be fed promises and are forced to sign documents with postponements. We have been waiting for our apartments for the sixth year already. In addition to the deadlines, the project has significantly depreciated, which is evident from the change in the facade and the replacement of elevators. Also, the number of common areas has been reduced by selling storage rooms in these spaces. The house is not completed, and the quality is obvious. We ask you to pay attention to our problems.
It should be noted that the developer of the house – the "NikaPraekt" company – recently stated that it intends to complete construction by the end of 2026. It is currently preparing the third, fourth, and fifth sections for completion, while simultaneously finalizing work on the last ones – the sixth and seventh.

However, the co-investors' claims concern not only the completion deadline of the object. According to them, the quality of construction leaves much to be desired. This means that even after accepting the housing, they will have to solve a new problem: bringing the long-awaited apartments and common areas into proper order.
