Trump on an agreement between Putin and Zelenskyy: They don't have to be in the same room
He also spoke about how one "stupid Russian general" at the beginning of the full-scale invasion simply got lost on the way to Kyiv and got stuck in the mud.

US President Donald Trump stated that Russian leader Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy do not necessarily have to be in the same room to reach an agreement. He said this yesterday at a press conference, writes Ukrainska Pravda.
He added that both Ukraine and Russia are losing many people, but Russia is a huge country, and Ukraine is not.
According to him, Zelenskyy should strive to stop this war, and if he doesn't, then, as Trump believes, it will have very bad consequences.
"Ukraine itself must strive to conclude an agreement, because the United States has spent a huge amount of money on it, Europe has also spent a lot, and Europe is already tired of it. If they don't conclude an agreement, then in the end, in my opinion, the situation will just get even worse."
Later, Trump again shared his vision of the course of the war in Ukraine, in particular, he spoke about how one "stupid Russian general" at the beginning of the full-scale invasion simply got lost on the way to Kyiv and got stuck in the mud.
He also added that the hatred between Putin and Zelenskyy "is simply enormous," and this is the main reason why they have not yet managed to reach an agreement.
In his opinion, Putin and Zelenskyy do not necessarily have to be in the same room to sign an agreement.
"I think they can do it differently. It's hard for them to be in the same room. I don't care how it's done," Trump said.
