On May 18, the Belarusian Plastic Theatre "InZhest" was supposed to turn 45 years old, but it did not live to see this anniversary, reports Euroradio.

"The theatre, unfortunately, officially no longer exists. In April, the decorations were finally removed," says one of its participants.
Viachaslau Inazemtsev, the long-time head of the project, now lives in Japan.
In July 2020, the actors of "InZhest" recorded a video appeal in which they spoke about the changeability of power and fair elections. In 2021, the theatre was banned from performing in Belarus, and in 2024, its premises were taken away.
