The note contained the phone number of a woman who witnessed the incident. She reported seeing an unknown man deliberately scratch a parked car with keys, after which he walked away.
To help the owner, the Minsk resident filmed the perpetrator and left her contacts for the driver.
Based on the video, law enforcement officers quickly identified and apprehended the suspect. He turned out to be a 41-year-old man.
The detained man confessed that he was returning home intoxicated after breaking up with his girlfriend. According to him, out of anger, he damaged the car, which allegedly prevented him from passing.
The man had not been noticed in anything similar before, but now a criminal case for hooliganism has been initiated against him. The amount of damage caused was estimated at 800 rubles, and the man will have to compensate for it.
