In the morning, around 6 o'clock, a foreign woman, who was visiting Belarus, arrived at "Minsk-Passazhyrski" station and dozed off while waiting for her train. She left her bag unattended, which contained documents, money (685 rubles), and three mobile phones.

A 72-year-old Minsk resident took advantage of the situation. She looked around for some time, and then, choosing a convenient moment, took someone else's bag and left.
After the victim reported the incident to the police, criminal investigation officers quickly identified the suspect and detained her in the Niamiha area.
A criminal case has been initiated for theft. Appropriation of someone else's property can be punished by a fine, community service, corrective labor, or restriction/deprivation of liberty.
