Fico brings a message from Zelenskyy to Putin

The Slovak Prime Minister will not attend the parade.

Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico will deliver a message from Volodymyr Zelenskyy to Vladimir Putin during his visit to Moscow on May 9. This was stated by Rastislav Chovanec, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Slovakia, at a meeting of the European Parliament's Committee on Foreign Affairs.

"He may also receive valuable information from Putin about how he assesses efforts to end the war," Chovanec stated.

Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico plans to be in Moscow on May 9, but will not attend the parade — he will lay flowers and meet with Putin separately.
