The bomb under the car of the deceased serviceman in St. Petersburg was planted by a 24-year-old woman, who flew to Moldova via Turkey on August 27, writes Fontanka.

A few months ago, unknowns contacted the 24-year-old Russian woman via messenger, and then "representatives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine." The girl was allegedly engaged in conversations about the war and politics, after which she was offered to plant an improvised explosive device under a specific car, and after completing the task, leave Russia for Ukraine.

The girl herself is not originally from St. Petersburg.

She planted the explosive device on the evening of August 26 under the bottom of the car and immediately afterwards went to Pulkovo Airport, from where she flew to Turkey at 5 AM on August 27.

According to the publication, Russian security forces identified the girl and contacted their Turkish counterparts to have her detained in Turkey, but by then she had already flown to Chisinau.
