Belarusian Zalivaka asked Russian police for help. But regretted it in the end
The man claimed he was being held by force in a cafe. Law enforcement arrived, but also checked his documents.

Belarusian citizen Aliaksandr Zalivaka was deported from Russia after he himself called the police, even though he was in the country illegally.
Zalivaka arrived in Russia back in 2020 and stayed there. In 2024, he ended up in Kalmykia, at the "Bairta" cafe on the 41st kilometer of the R-22 "Kaspiy" highway (Volgograd — Elista). It was from there that the Belarusian called the police to report that he was being held by force.
Law enforcement arrived, deemed the call knowingly false, but also checked Zalivaka's documents. The result — a fine for violating the residency regime in Russia and deportation.
