Only by a miracle was a teenager saved from death on the Pripyat
The incident occurred on the evening of July 16 on the Pripyat River in the Stolin district, writes the Water Rescue Society.

According to rescuers, during bathing, a teenager born in 2009 suddenly began to drown. He was approximately 25 meters from the shore, and the depth at that spot was about 2.5 meters.
The boy was noticed by his sister, who was at that time paddleboarding with her husband. The man immediately rushed to his aid, swam to the teenager, pulled him out of the water and partially placed him on the paddleboard, after which he brought him to shore. At that moment, the boy was unconscious.
On the shore, the teenager regained consciousness. People who witnessed the incident called an ambulance. After examination, medics took him to the intensive care unit of the nearest hospital.
