Drone or ballistic missile? What is this 'Pelican' that Ukrainians used to attack Moscow today
Tonight, Moscow and the Moscow region came under a massive attack by Ukrainian missiles and drones. Among the weapons used in the raid, Volodymyr Zelenskyy named 'Pelican'. In the media, this name previously appeared for the FP-7 ballistic missile.
The President of Ukraine did not specify what type of weapon it is, however, as reported by 'RBC-Ukraine' citing its sources, 'Pelican' is still not a ballistic missile, but an aircraft-type drone. Other details about it are not disclosed.
As reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as a result of today's strikes, three installations of the Moscow Oil Refinery were hit. Also, a large-scale fire broke out on the territory of the plant.
The Ukrainian attack led to a collapse at Moscow airports.
