Luxembourg Airport Operations Halted Due to 'Unauthorized Drones'
On the evening of September 18, operations at Luxembourg-Findel airport were temporarily suspended after 'unauthorised unmanned aerial vehicles' were spotted near and over its territory. On the morning of September 19, the airport resumed operations, Reuters reported .

The administration of Luxembourg's sole international airport stated that the suspension of flights was a precautionary measure for the safety of passengers, crews, airport staff, and aircraft.
The administration did not disclose details regarding the origin of the drones or the individuals who controlled them.
Luxembourg Airport is the main hub for the national airline Luxair. The administration stated that it continues to monitor the situation in cooperation with the relevant government agencies.
