Trump stated that his son will return money to Russian oligarch for wedding parties

US President Donald Trump stated that his son, Donald Trump Jr., promised to return money to a Russian oligarch who sponsored festive events for his wedding in the Bahamas in May, writes Reuters.
It was previously reported that Russian businessman and President of the International Boxing Association Umar Kremlev paid hundreds of thousands of dollars for the festive wedding events of Trump's son.
Trump told reporters that when he asked his son about it, he replied: "No, I'm returning the money, dad." "And that was some time ago. So I heard that he is paying."
An agency source confirmed that Trump Jr. plans to reimburse Kremlev for the expenses.
Donald Trump himself was not present at his son's wedding. He previously said he did not know Kremlev and that the wedding scandal was "not a big deal".
Trump stated on Friday that he hosted wedding parties for "many people" in "beautiful locations" such as his Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida.
"Despite all this, I understand that Don returned the money to him."
Trump Jr.'s wife, Bettina Trump, in an Instagram post on Monday, called Kremlev a friend who made an "extremely generous wedding gift," emphasizing that Kremlev paid for two post-wedding parties, not the wedding itself.
