The child was riding a trick scooter on a pedestrian crossing, accompanied by her parents. The motorist did not yield to her.
The accident occurred on the evening of September 5 on Sukharevskaya Street, the capital's traffic police reported.
According to preliminary information, a 36-year-old taxi driver did not yield to an eight-year-old girl on a trick scooter and hit her. Her parents were with the child.
The girl was taken to the hospital.
