Russian Foreign Ministry: The situation is not developing in Kyiv's favor

The American administration, when discussing the settlement in Ukraine, must take into account the situation on the ground, which is not developing in Kyiv's favor. Sergei Ryabkov, Deputy Head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, stated this to TASS in response to a request to comment on the possible visit of US President's special envoy Steve Whitkoff and Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner to Moscow.
“The main question is how ready the US administration is to invest in finding a real solution to the current crisis, one that takes into account the realities on the ground. Not only the root causes, which we constantly talk about, but also the situation that is constantly changing and changing not in Kyiv's favor,” he said.
Yesterday, Donald Trump stated that Whitkoff and Kushner, who are scheduled to visit Moscow and Kyiv today and tomorrow, are carrying a proposal to end the war.
