Second Power Unit of Belarusian NPP Switched On Again
It had been under repair since July 26.
On August 4, after diagnostic measures were carried out on its electrical equipment, power unit No. 2 of the Belarusian NPP was brought online and reached nominal parameters, the plant reported in its Telegram channel.
The second power unit was shut down on July 26. According to the BelNPP press service, the reason was the need for diagnostics of electronics and electrical equipment. The station emphasized that the radiation background remains normal, and the power supply to consumers is not disrupted.
